Hey! I am Eason Chang (Yin-Hsiang Chang) 👋

I'm a Fullstack Engineer turned indie maker. I went from building enterprise software at Trend Micro to co-founding Aburi Studio with Carol Hsiao—where we're on a mission to help people achieve financial freedom through better tools.

Right now, I'm obsessed with one question: "How can we make financial independence accessible to everyone?" That's why I built FireFree, CoreHour, and DailyPay—tools that demystify the path to early retirement.

I also love writing posts, covering Software Engineering, Product Development, Maker Culture, and building profitable products.

I'm from Taiwan 🇹🇼, creating from Canada 🇨🇦, big fan of bubble tea 🧋!

I'm currently building financial independence tools through Aburi Studio, co-founded with Carol Hsiao. We're creating products like FireFree, CoreHour, and DailyPay that help people achieve financial freedom.

As a software engineer with 5+ years of experience, I specialize in:

  • Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
  • Backend: Node.js, Python, Golang, Supabase
  • Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Vercel, CI/CD pipelines
  • Architecture: Monorepo (Turborepo), zero-knowledge encryption, full-stack product development

I've worked in both fast-paced startup environments at GDP Inc. (FinTech) and large enterprises at Trend Micro (cybersecurity leader), now building my own products at Aburi Studio.
